This chapter is about multigenre projects, this will be helpful to us because we are doing a project on 3 genres within our community. The chapter talks about how these projects go beyond the classroom which is true with our projects as well considering we will be making/presenting things about our community found outside of the classroom, such as a posters posted out around campus. The chapter talks about how to set up a multigenre project and gives us step by step instructions on what to do and questions to ask ourselves along the way. The chapter also gives us rhetorical strategies to use such as to focus on purpose and audience This is useful considering we are setting up a multigenre project over the next couple of days. Like many of the other chapters, the chapter uses an example student, this time named Neil Carr, it gives us an example of his multigenre project and explains how he did everything and how he set everything up. While Neil’s project was on video games and mine will be on Florida State football, the set up and guide his project gives me will be important and useful when it comes to doing my project.
